Hear the fascinating story that inspired the memoir, movie and Broadway musical, Catch Me If You Can, where a notorious con artist becomes one of the world's top authorities on fraud prevention and one of the world's most respected authorities on forgery, embezzlement, identity theft and secure documents. Mr. Abagnale has been associated with the FBI for the past 38 years.

Following his unique story, Mr. Abagnale will provide the latest information to protect institutions, associations and corporations from embezzlement, forgery, counterfeit currency, check fraud, identity theft, and Internet fraud. He describes white–collar crime techniques, and demonstrates the latest document features and equipment. This will be a timely, insightful and informative presentation.

Rick Richardson began providing CPAs with his technology futures forecast in 1981 and this year will mark an unbroken string of 36 years of predicting our technology future.  Rick will provide attendees with his vision of both the short and longer-term future for technology, including technologies important to the accounting professional.  Topics will include a review of prior-year predictions, what major-market companies are doing and how their actions will affect all of us, current trends in hardware, software, and communications as well as emerging technologies that will bring those trends into reality.  Rick will conclude with his personal forecasts on our technology future.  Look for Rick to bring some of the latest technologies with him to share with participants.
