L. Gary
Boomer
Gary is recognized in the accounting profession as the leading authority on technology and firm management. For the past ten years, he has been named by Accounting Today as one of the 100 most influential people in accounting. He consults and speaks around the globe on management and technology related topics including strategic and technology planning, compensation and developing a training/learning culture. He acts as a planning facilitator, provides coaching and serves on many advisory boards. He serves on the Kansas Society of CPAs and on the accounting advisory board at Kansas State University. He is a member of The Advisory Board, a group of leading consultants to the accounting profession. He is the past chairman of the AICPA’s Information Technology Executive Committee and a former member of the AICPA Council. He has also served on the AICPA’s Academic and Career Development Executive Committee and the ACUTE Board of Directors. Gary is the creator of and a facilitator for The Boomer Technology Circles™. Each circle is comprised of approximately 20 firms from unique geographic areas. The Circles meet three times per year and are connected through a private extranet. Strategic Planning Gary is the author of “Boomer’s Blueprint”, a regular column in Accounting Today and publishes the Boomer Bulletin™, a technology newsletter with worldwide circulation. In addition to accounting firm and small business consulting, he has consulted with IBM, Microsoft, Intuit, CCH, and Thomson on the design and marketing of accounting related software. Mr. Boomer received his BS and MS degrees in accounting from Kansas State University. He and his wife Mary have three children, Jeff, Jim and Katie.

Allen Goldberg
Audiences from young to old find his presentations fun and informative. A title sampling of Allen's web casts are “Internet Security,”, “Small Business Accounting 2006”, “Protecting your Priceless Data”, “How to Protect Yourself in Our Digital World, and “Small Business Essentials…what you need to succeed.” His software experience spans more than 400 titles, with his certifications ranging from A+ and MOUS to Networking, the Adobe Creative Suite and Macromedia. Allen also has extensive teaching experience with animation and 3D modeling applications like Pixar RenderMan, Rhinoceros and Alias Maya. He is currently working on furthering his certifications with MCP and MBSC training courses. Allen received his undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. His Master’s degrees, [earned on-line] are in Internet Technology, International Business Consultant and Leader and Computer Animation and 3D Modeling. Kless
Prior to joining Sage Software, Ed worked with Tipping Point Advisors, an organization dedicated to the growth and development of software implementation partners. Before that, he co-founded Third Wave Business Systems, a Microsoft Dynamics Partner, in 1996, which grew to 20 team members and 5 million in revenue. At Third Wave, Ed developed the implementation methodology and managed the front and back office consulting teams. Ed is a Senior Fellow of the VeraSage Institute, a frequent contributor to industry publications and has spoken at many conferences worldwide.
Gregory L. LaFollette, CPA, CITP
Greg served as Vice President of Product Strategy at Thomson Creative Solutions until 2004. Prior to joining CSI in 1999, Greg was the Tax & Technology partner at LaFollette, Jansa, Brandt & Co., LLP, in Sioux Falls, SD. The firm, which he founded in 1980, is the largest local firm in the trade area. Greg completed his professional training at Augustana College and is a graduate of and staff lecturer at the AICPA/University of Illinois National Tax Education Program. He Chairs the AICPA's prestigious CITP Credential Committee and serves on the TECH+ Planning Committee and the Top Techs Task Force. Greg is a national speaker for CPA societies, state bar associations, industry groups, and computer user groups; has published numerous articles on financial services and computer systems management. Greg and his wife, Kaye, have one grown daughter and reside in Sioux Falls, SD.
Jack LaRue
Jack has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience. He joined Creative Solutions in 1993 when he was charged with building the awareness of Creative Solutions from a small, regional software company to a national leader. He served as Vice President of Marketing for 13 years, leading all of Creative Solutions’ marketing strategies and brand development. Jack was appointed Senior Vice President, CS Professional Suite in January, 2006. Prior to joining Thomson and Creative Solutions, Jack headed the business-to-business marketing efforts of Florists’ Transworld Delivery (FTD). Jack has a B.A. from Eastern Michigan University and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Adrian Stern
Adrian is the recipient of the 1991 Instructor Excellence Award from the California CPA Education Foundation. He is the author and instructor of the California CPA Education Foundation's courses "How to Buy and Sell CPA Practices" and "Excel for CPA's." He is also the author and editor for the Harcourt Brace book, "CPA's Complete Billing and Collection Handbook" and an editor of the "Managing and Accounting Practice Guide" published by the AICPA. Adrian has lectured all across the United States speaking on various topics to over 10,000 fellow CPA's in 20 states. Adrian is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past member of the Board of Trustees for the California CPA Education Foundation. Adrian has also served on many committees and task forces for the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Education Foundation. Adrian is currently the treasurer of Partners in Care Foundation as well as chairman of the audit committee. He is a past member of the executive committee and former treasurer for Temple Adat Elohim. Adrian is an active wine collector and is always looking for the next great find. He is married with three daughters.
Jill Ward
Ward joined Intuit in 2001 as the vice president and general manager of QuickBase. She’s also led Intuit’s vertical solutions businesses. Her most recent position was as vice president of Accountant Central where she was responsible for deepening relationships with small businesses and accountants that use QuickBooks. Ward joined Intuit from a $100 million customer relationship management outsourcing business where she served as president. She holds a BA from Wellesley College and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth.
